Here’s how you add the Smart Metronome to a song on each platform:
- On Web and Desktop: The Smart Metronome track is in the mix by default. To turn it on, simply unmute by pushing the “M” button next to it.
- On Mobile: Tap the metronome icon, then toggle it on.
Your click track will automatically sync to the song’s tempo, with the option to set clicks at 1x, 0.5x, or 2x speed. Want to isolate specific instruments while you practice? Pair the metronome with the Stem Separation feature to focus on just the drums, bass, vocals, etc.
Moises automatically analyzes any song to determine the exact tempo. Knowing the tempo then allows the Smart Metronome to adjust to match the song, even if the tempo changes. You will even have the option to adjust the tempo of the song with the Speed Changer feature.
You can add a metronome to a song online using the Moises Web App. This version of Moises runs directly in your browser. Simply upload a song to the Moises platform, and it will automatically include a metronome track in the mix. Push the “M” button to unmute it.

You can try the Smart Metronome for free, but it only works for the first minute of a track unless you upgrade to a paid subscription with Moises Premium or Moises Pro.
Yes, Moises lets you export your track with a metronome recording included. You can also export songs with or without specific stems, and in an adjusted tempo or key.
